Meet Barrie Seppings.

I’d describe myself as a Creative Strategist with deep digital, strategic, regional and B2B experience.

Don’t let the youthful enthusiasm mislead you: I bring over 2 decades of hard-won experience in advertising, marketing & communications to bear on business problems, by applying skills learned from time spent in the trenches of brand direct, digital & social disciplines. My professional experience in Australia & South East Asia informs a world view that brings value to global brands.

My current role is Director of Creative Strategy @ wordsearch Australia, the latest office in the world’s leading specialist agency network for architecture and property.

Right now, my focus is on developing stories for the built environment. We use various combinations of content, media platforms, direct marketing, digital, social and mobile can help marketers to create better customer experiences and capture demand.

I have a track record that has produced, led and contributed to work that has been recognised at Clio, Cannes, ADMA, AWARD, Golden Stylus, DMA Echoes, AMEs, Digital Asia Festival, FOMA and others, across almost every media from broadcast radio to digital.

Recent award wins include:

I also develop and deliver  training, facilitation and workshop programs for clients and agencies that help teams: find relevant, local insights; write more focussed briefs; run more effective brainstorms and objectively evaluate the work that is generated in response.
